Polish Year in Israel 2008-2009
The Polish-Israeli Year is a joint venture launched by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Starting from the spring of 2008 through the spring of 2009, there will be presented more than 70 projects connected with different aspects of culture, science as well as tourism and economy. Conferences and publications concerning Polish-Israeli relations will constitute an important part of the programme. More details will be available soon at www.poland-israel.org.

The Taube Foundation’s grants for non-fiction publications containing Jewish themes
The Taube Foundation for Jewish Life and Culture announces the initiation of the Book Grants Program. The program is intended to support, in the form of grants, scientific and non-fiction publications which appeared in Poland and the USA and which contain Jewish themes related to Poland. The contribution is possible to be obtained before a publication is completed, i.e. during the process of writing the publication.
