The main goal of the meeting is to show the similarities and differences between Christianity and Judaism, as well as to present the various forms of the dialogue between the two religions. The panel discussion will be preceded by a concert of the avant-garde klezmer band Gaamera. A photo exhibition "Chasydzi/Chasids" by Tomek Kaczor will accompanied the meeting.

"Judaism and Christianity..." will be the the second meeting from the series "Areopag na Freta/Areopag on Freta St.". Within the framework of this project students from universities in Warsaw invite representatives of different religions, best Polish journalists, as well as the experts on culture and religion, in order to talk about richness and multiplicity of the world they live in. During the next meetings from the series the following topics will be raised: Buddism, Hinduism, interreligious dialogue, the Orthodox Church, Protestantism, ecumenism, the internal dialogue in the Catholic Church.

The organizers believe that such meetings are great occasion to deepen and revise our opinions, as well as discard the bad stereotypes. “We are not afraid of any debate about important problems, we know that together we can find the answers for many questions about the meaning of life, and a role of the believers in our city and our country”.
